'I was so pleased to find Sarah during my second pregnancy as I wanted to do more exercise but found it difficult to fit it in with a toddler as well as not knowing what sort of workout it was best to be doing. By having a weekly session with Sarah it gave me the push I needed to exercise more and keep fit during my pregnancy and provided an incentive to do something rather than nothing between sessions. It was great to know I was doing the right sort of exercise for pregnancy and not risking injury.
The sessions were specifically tailor-made for me after discussing my goals and level of fitness. Although Sarah pushed me, and I definitely felt like I’d had a workout each time, she worked to my level and was able to quickly adapt the exercises if I was struggling too much or had any pregnancy aches and pains. She made the sessions fun and enjoyable and is obviously very knowledgeable about exercise and pregnancy as well as being a good motivator.
By the time labour day arrived I felt healthier than I would have done otherwise and during labour I was relieved to have the strength in my legs to be standing or kneeling most of the time. If I hadn’t done the personal training I think I would have felt more tired.
Sarah was a great help with my nutrition and very knowledgeable on the subject and although we didn’t change my diet much while I was pregnant I know she’s going to be able to help me lose the baby weight more easily this time by getting my food intake right.
I’m looking forward to starting my post natal exercise with Sarah soon but I know she’ll be pushing me even harder now in order to achieve the results I want!'
